Ale Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices
Appearance: dark dirty copper with a reddish tint; thin
light tan head;
Aroma: nice pumpkin spice pie;
Flavors and Mouthfeel: fine fizzy carbonation feel; the
spice is up front, allspice; hint of pumpkin; it has a nice ale quality,
To the Point: a nice Pumpkin Ale; I like the spicy brown notes;
I’ll give this a B;
Pumpkin Ale reviews for the week: I reviewed all three on
the same day; I preferred the Post Road Pumpkin Ale by Brooklyn Brewery; then
the Samuel Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale; and then the New Belgium Pumpkick.
