On this cool summer night here in the tip of the thumb of Michigan I am going to pour myself this Imperial Stout that came in the Heavy Seas Sampler Pack.
Don’t be fooled by this short review, this is a tasty Stout. It is pretty straight forward, roasted coffee and a creamy dark chocolate. The dark chocolate taste transfers to the mouthfeel with a pleasing thick creamy style and low carbonation. The roasted coffee lingers on the palate for a bit of an aftertaste.
For a Russian Imperial Stout style it may be lack a little punch but, this is tasty. This is a nice break from those summertime beers.
