Burning River Pale Ale: Review

6% abv
12 oz bottle
45 IBU
Great Lakes Brewing
Cleveland, Burning LeBron’s jersey, Ohio

A bright copper color, like a new penny. A good crisp citrus and spice profile that is front and center. Nothing overpower though. Nice malty character underneath to help strike that balance between malts and hops. To me this is a very enjoyable pale ale. Like the Eliot Ness I have not had this before so I am looking forward to the next two bottles from this sampler pack.

I have to admit it – I am really liking the Great Lakes line up. I just hope they don’t move the brewery to Miami!
