Duckstein Rotblondes Original Review

Duckstein Beer
Hamburg, Germany

4.9% abv
Style: Altbier
1pt .9oz bottle
$3.19 a bottle
From: Lager Mill in Frankenmuth

Appearance: deep amber-brown body with a light tan head that did not stay around long; leaves no lacing

Aroma: sweet grains; caramel; soft mineral water

Flavors: caramel/toffee like on the front; sweet grains in the mix; dry hoppyness on the mid and finish;

Mouthfeel: medium body; low carbonation, just a very fine fizz; dry on the mid; very dry on the finish;

To the Point: not a lot of fun to review but, just sitting back and drinking this beer I enjoyed it; the finish is so dry I needed a glass of water with this beer; I’ll give this beer an 83% a low B grade; lacks distinct notes and character;
